Here’s the Reason We Might Have Revoked Your Access to Self-Fulfil

We thank you for your continued partnership and want to reassure you that our goal is to build a marketplace that will be beneficial to both our customers and our merchants.


Over the past few months however, we have discovered that a good number of merchants have attempted to criminalize the self-fulfil activity to suit their needs. This informed the decision to revoke the self-fulfil option. Some other reasons for this decision are:


  • Self-fulfil access has granted fraudulent merchants the opportunity to owe invoices running to millions and refusing to pay, then  closing their store only to reopen under another alias
  • Some merchants now ship and deliver orders but do not update the status of these orders accurately so as to avoid paying commissions on them
  • There has  been a high rate of “auto cancelled ” orders due to delay in order shipment from merchants as a result of other fraudulent reasons
  • Some merchants update orders to “ship by self” but eventually cancel these orders by themselves or requesting customers to cancel in order to avoid cancellation sanction


As we progress in our partnership the coming months, we implore that you continue to focus on building a sustainable business with us to ensure a successful and fruitful relationship.


NB: If your access has been revoked, all orders received by your store MUST  be shipped by KOS as you will no longer be able to ship by Self.
